The “University Blue” Air Jordan XVII Low is one of the two colorways of the XVII that are slated to make their return this year. As has been reported, the excitement over the pending second retail run of the XVII low has somewhat been marred by the lunacy of Jordan Brand attaching a 300 USD sticker price on these.
As can be gleaned from the images that have emerged, as was the case with its 2002 progenitor, these will sport a tumbled white leather upper. The university blue Dynamic inner sleeve that aids in securing the foot and adds some visual variety. A silver Jumpman can be seen at the university blue suede rear heel , while Jordan 17 appears on a tab on the toe. Chrome eyelets and lace aglets round out an upper that sits atop a university blue TPU shell and a chrome-plated heel stability bumper and two-piece multi colored rubber outsole.
As it currently stands, the “University Blue” Air Jordan XVII is scheduled to begin its sophomore retail voyage on August 29 at nike.com ; they will carry a ridiculous 300 USD sticker price.
